Description :	Fauteuil à bandeaux en bois de petite natte, mouluré et tourné, assise foncée de canne. Dossier cadre concave avec des balustres tournés, accotoirs curvilignes de section décroissante prenant chacun appui sur un balustre tourné. Pieds arrière en sabre, pieds avants droits tournés.

Historique :	Fauteuil de la 2e moitié du 19e siècle, sur un modèle de la fin du 18e ou du début du 19e siècle (vers 1790-1800). On peut le rapprocher de sièges français Consulat ou Directoire, notamment le profil en sabre montants arrière ou les supports d'accotoirs tournés en forme de balustre. Ce genre de modèle a connu un grand succès dans l'île, avec des variantes dans les dossiers et les montants avant qui peuvent être non pas tournés mais en gaines. Ce type de modèle est extrêmement rare localement et n'avait jamais été répertorié physiquement, bien qu'attesté par les pièces d'archives. Auteur anonyme (atelier réunionnais).
