Historique :	Un premier orgue de Henri Didier est fourni dans l’église du Morne Rouge en 1886 qui est détruit en 1891 par un cyclone qui ravage l’église. En 1897, la reconstruction de l’édifice est achevée mais, endommagée par l’éruption de 1902, elle doit être rebâti entre 1907 et 1912. L’orgue actuel, construit en tant qu’orgue de choeur pour la cathédrale de Fort-de-France, d’où il a été transféré en 1922. Laval-Thivolle intervient et remplace le soufflet et peint les tuyaux de façade en gris. L’instrument est restauré en 2010 par Sébastien Fohrer, associé à Sébastien Metz.
