Description :	Monument funéraire en forme d'urne orné d'une figure représentant la déesse des Indes Occidentales avec un escalve agenouillé et des cannes à sucre.

Historique :	Urne sculptée par le suédois Johan Niklas Bystrom (1783-1848) entre 1814 et 1817 après une souscription publique des habitants de l'île de Saint-Barthélémy alors possession suédoise. L'urne fut d'abord placée sur la tombe du lieutenant August Nyman (1779-1814), héros d'un soulèvement des habitants de l'île en 1810, puis transportée sur le terre-plein du fort Gustave III de Saint-Barthélémy et enfin au musée Schoelcher de Pointe-à-Pitre.
